Installation Guide for High Pressure Rubber Hose

The high-pressure rubber hose sections, fittings, fasteners, and valves used for installation have been inspected and found to be qualified, and are accompanied by corresponding certification documents. After being transported to the site, they should be properly stored, clearly marked, and neatly placed. Before installation, the inner and outer surfaces should be wiped clean, and the internal channels should be checked for foreign objects and smoothness. Check whether the roughness of the sealing surface and gasket of the pipe mouth meet the requirements. There should be no scratches (radial scratches), spots or other defects on the sealing surface that affect the sealing performance. Except for the pipes specified for degreasing, apply oil, butter or white Vaseline to the sealing surface and gasket of the pipe mouth for protection. The threaded part of the high-pressure rubber hose end that has been inspected and found to be qualified.

When installing pipelines, formal pipe racks should be used for fixation. Protective sleeves should be installed on the pipe racks that come into contact with high-pressure rubber pipes and fittings according to design requirements. When installing high-pressure flanges, the chamfer of the pipe end thread should be exposed. When installing the sealing gasket, butter should be applied to the pipe mouth and gasket in advance, and the soft metal high-pressure gasket should be accurately placed in the sealing seat. The flange bolts should be tightened symmetrically and evenly, without excessive tightening. After the bolts are tightened, the two flanges should be kept parallel and concentric. The threads exposed outside the nut should be 2-3 threads, at least not less than 2 threads, and the exposed length of each bolt should be basically the same. During the installation process, it is not allowed to use methods such as pulling, pushing, twisting, or modifying the thickness of the sealing gasket to compensate for manufacturing or installation errors. If the pipeline installation work cannot be carried out continuously and completed, the open high-pressure hose port should be promptly closed. The parts of the instrument sampling section on the pipeline should be installed simultaneously with the pipeline.

When performing local curvature correction on high-pressure rubber hoses, the heating temperature should be controlled below the critical temperature of the steel.

After the installation of the pipeline system is completed, the steel seal markings on the pipeline should be rechecked. If a missing steel seal is found, it should be promptly supplemented according to the original basis.
