How to choose the rubber tube that suits oneself

1. In terms of work pressure. When conveying materials, rubber hoses have to withstand some pressure due to factors such as the flow rate of the material and the inner diameter of the rubber hose, and this pressure can be divided into positive pressure and negative pressure. So rubber hoses are generally divided into low-pressure hoses and high-pressure hoses. The rated working pressure of the rubber hose we choose should be greater than the actual working pressure used in practice, because once the pressure exceeds the working pressure of the hose, it will cause damage to the hose, which may lead to hose rupture, damage, and even serious accidents such as breakage.

2. In terms of shape. The conventional shape of rubber pipes is usually straight pipes, while other shapes of rubber pipes are collectively referred to as special-shaped pipes. A straight pipe is a rubber tube that has not undergone any bending of the entire body and has no significant change in inner diameter. And special-shaped pipes refer to rubber pipes other than straight pipes, such as variable diameter pipes with changes in inner diameter, flat curved pipes with plane bending, and some curved pipes with three-dimensional bending. We need to choose a suitable shape of rubber tube when using it, otherwise if we bend the rubber tube, it may cause damage to the wall of the rubber tube, and the pressure inside the tube will also change, which may result in the range of working pressure for the ear studs designed for the rubber tube.

3. In terms of length. As for the length of the hose, everyone knows that it cannot be used decisively, but some people feel that it doesn't matter if the hose is too long. But in fact, this is a wrong idea. An excessively long rubber tube will bend during use. Even if the rubber tube can withstand the degree of bending, the pressure borne by the bent part of the tube during material transportation will also increase to a certain extent. Therefore, the working pressure that the rubber tube can withstand in its normal form may not be able to withstand during bending.
